A Smoky Mountain Sunset by Stacie Bullard

“Watching the sunset from Clingmans Dome is always beautiful, but on this particular day, it was simply breathtaking. It was as if I was standing above an ocean of clouds that stretched all the way to the horizon. The colors from the setting sun were like nothing I had ever seen. It was incredible. This was a perfect end to a wonderful day in the Smokies.”

Color Above the Cove by Stacie Bullard

“Every year in late June, something spectacular happens high above Cades Cove – the blooming of the flame azaleas on Gregory Bald. I recently made my first trip up to the bald, and when I reached the end of my hike, I was amazed by what I found. The views from Gregory Bald were breathtaking, and the azaleas were absolutely incredible. There were so many different varieties and colors of azaleas that it would have taken days to see them all. If you plan on visiting the Smokies in June, you must make the hike up to Gregory Bald. You will never forget it.”
